8. This secret made me cry in a way that made me grateful my roommates are at a baseball game. I'm so sorry. ♥ That episode made me sob harder than the Ben one, too - it was very touching. Honestly, that show makes me cry a lot. For as comedic as it's supposed to be, it's sad parts hit pretty hard. :/

69. As far as 'hawtness' goes, there're both pretty equal (at least as far as I'm concerned). As far as character awesomeness goes, the top beats out the bottom like WOAH. It makes me sad how cool Light could have been if he had never found the Death Note. It was the only time in the whole series where I didn't despise him with every fiber of my being.

Not to say that him reading it wouldn't be hot, but T.S Eliot's Wasteland is probably one of the most beautiful works or modern liturature like.... ever! And, while it may be obscure, it isn't something most people consider hard to read. It's so unspecific that it is easy to apply to oneself.
How can someone 'slog' through Burial of the Dead? "April is the cruelest month" doesn't grab your attention?

It's not that I don't get the themes or I don't appreciate the literature, but yeah, my first time reading through it I went in cold and the allusions flew straight over my head. Yes, it's obscure. How do you fully appreciate and understand the frequent references to fishing when you don't know the legend of the Fisher King, you know?

The other episode is actually far more of a personal experience for me. While I've had friends die, I actually did eventually lose my mother due to complications from kidney failure. The woman in the episode had the same.

Yeah, I fail to see the apparent death throes anime is supposedly going through right now. Other than Geneon imploding the rest of the industry seems fine from what I've seen, and it actually seems to be releasing more rather than less.

Also, I hate Kira-Light. He's much, much more likable without the damn Death Note in his possession. (I feel like a bad fan saying this, but I never finished it. Not 'cause L died, but because I knew from that point on he'd never return to be his cute former self.)
