What happened in White Collar?

The DW fandom got so claustrophobically cliquey that a huge number of people left a couple of years ago with a whole series of fights, flouncing etc. I think the main couple of clique people who ran everything are still trying to pretend their audience hasn't shrunk to an increasingly small echo chamber, or at least that was the case a few months ago when I last could be bothered to check it out.

Sucks. It used to have good fic output.

Huh? What happened in White Collar fandom? Admittedly I dropped out like a season before the end, but when I was in it everybody seemed pretty chill?
