Set a timer. Write for half an hour. Take a ten minute break. Lather, rinse, repeat.

If you can do it with other people (we call them Word Wars; you compare your wordcount to everyone else's when the timer goes off), that's good too, because it creates instant accountability, as long as no one is the type to go "Oh, is that all?" Any wordcount is good wordcount, because it's more than you started with. You can do it via IM or in a chatroom.

Editing while writing can slow you down, but as long as you're just insta-editing typos and such, that's not too bad. Allow yourself to suck. It's a first draft. They suck by definition, and that's okay.
