(Anonymous) 2016-01-23 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)Every single YA book I've ever managed to sit and read though has the same basic plot and characters and boring hetero love triangle. I would imagine it would get dull and repetitive fast.
I know there are some YA books that differ from this formula and are supposed to be really good, but I know it's not the majority.

(Anonymous) 2016-01-23 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)I even kinda doubt you actually read as much YA as you say, since "boring hetero love triangle" is one of the most common criticisms people fall back on when they want to paint all YA with the same tarnished brush without really reading it.
