I think I'd like it better if it actually addressed concerns (unhappy employees, bad pay, etc.) rather than offering "training" and giving people supposed full rides to college. (That may not be as full ride as it seems.)
The rewards seem heartwarming, but they don't actually solve the problems.

Also, it's amazing when the CEOs are shocked that not everyone loves their jobs. Of course sometimes the employees are idiots, if you don't like your job either get a new one or at least don't be an asshole, but still. A lot of cashiers don't love being cashiers.

Basically this. A single employee gets a raise, nice....but there are still 500k people being paid 7.75$ to stand around and peddle merchandise it would take five years for them to afford.
