I've tried to go back and re-watch 90's shows. So many of them are so terrible. Things that I loved back then, like Kung Fu: The Legend Continues and Highlander: The Series are just CRINGEWORTHY for me now.

Some things hold up well, like Babylon 5, Brimstone, and Seven Days, but the vast majority of 90's TV was so overacted I can't deal anymore.

Huh, I watched Highlander not so long ago, wasn't too bad. Hercules on the other hand...

Ah, but see, Hercules and Xena actually are still watchable for me, because they never took themselves seriously, they were always too over-the-top already. It's the "serious drama" shows that I look back on and cringe about the most.
