Re: Game recs? Game recs!

XBox 360. games I really like include the Dragon Age series and Devil May Cry 4.

I do like games with RPG-elements, and I like killing things with swords.

Nintendo DS: Fav games include the Pokémons and Chrono Trigger. Also pretty much all the Marios.

360: Have you tried DmC? I know it's a polarizing game, but I actually really enjoyed it, and I say that as a longtime fan of the series. If you're down with a JRPG, Tales of Vesperia is great, and holds the esteemed place in my heart as being the last really great 'Tales of' game. Also, Bayonetta is a given. (Shame about Bayo 2 being Wii U exclusive...)

DS: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon! Soooo cute. Also, for something a little more unusual, check out Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. It's an RPG that's a musical. And you fight with puppets. And pancakes.

The original DmC? No, have not tried that - I might if you say it's good! (I've played Bayonetta, but never got to finish it).

I don't know Vesperia, so I'll chzeck that out.

I never heard of Rhapsody, but it sounds right up my alley!

Thank you for the recs :)

The original DmC?

The reboot, actually! It's the latest in the series.

I hated DmC for the record. It played like shit compared to DMC, the story was awful, and the quality of play wasn't even great.

The next logical successor to the DMC series is Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2.

As far as DS games go, would heartily rec Hotel Dusk. It's a sort of adventure style RPG which has really simple gameplay but is well crafted and fun.
