Snapdragons.
When I was a kid, I stayed with my grandparents when Mom and Dad were working (I went to the elementary school across the street from them because the one near where we lived was horrible). When my grandparents were redoing their gardens, they took me to the nursery and told me to pick a few plants for my own garden. Snapdragons were the first flower I picked. I ended up with mint, strawberries, cucumbers, daisies, and morning glories.
