I'd find it less obnoxious if the author had any grasp of scansion.

I don't know what that is.

Scansion is the property of words scanning, or fitting correctly into a meter or structure.

I bet they think of Leia as 'that chick in the slave bikini'. Anyone who has watched Star Wars knows that Leia and Padmé were strong badass women who were able to fight as well as the male characters. Rey isn't doing anything new or groundbreaking.
