I'm reading an old book about ancient American civilizations. It was published by Time back in the 70s. Pretty fascinating stuff.

Isn't that one a mockery of standard fantasy fare? She might be pointing out the absurdity of long fantasy series.

I'm going to pick up "Sherwood" by Godwin Parke from the library today. I have no memory of why it's been on my to-read list for two years, but why not?

Sounds like it might have something to do with Robin Hood.

I'm reading "Yeah, you sound real fascinating. Go back to fucking dogs or reading porn of it, don't mess up your little brain trying to learn." It's an awesome book, even if the title is a bit long.

Dead Wake, which I think is a pretty good Larson history.

I just finished The Shotgun Arcana, which felt like it had middle-book syndrome, and I can't quite get over the really bad Temple of Doom treatment of Kali.

Okorafor's Lagoon is probably going to be my next lunch read. It was a Christmas gift.
