Weekend Plans

My sister is feeling a bit down, so I invited her over for dinner and to spend the night. We are going to be playing video games and will probably go grocery shopping in the morning.

What will you all be doing while I kill zombies in Left 4 Dead?

I'm trying to decide whether I should go out or not.

Reasons not to go out:

- it's probably 45 minutes each way to the place I would go to hang out with people
- it's rainy and I'm tired
- probably a lot of people I don't know

Reasons to go out:

- it's good to have fun
- it would probably good to maintain the sense of being socially normal
- a very good friend who i really like will be there and seeing him is always good (although he would be totally understanding if i couldn't make it0

Studying. I got behind again because of pain. I have to do a mock test on Monday so I have to catch up this weekend. It is going to be pretty much all studying other than food times and an hour downtime before bed at this point until the actual exam.

I'm recovering from the flu, so I'll probably just eat bland food, read whatever is on top of the 'need to read' stack of books, and watch movies. Oh, and I'm watching Black Sails tomorrow night!
I hope you and your sister have fun with the zombies. Grocery shopping is something most people don't seem to like, but I love a Saturday in a grocery store!

Shaking off a cold/sinus infection, most likely. I worked around 46 hours this week and it has gotten to me. :(

To add insult to injury, my period started today too... mine are pretty mild, but it's still not fun.

(I'll just goof off on the computer and play video games like I usually do.)

Weekend Warrior prompts go out tonight on the board I'm a member of, so I'll be staring helplessly at them before I come up with a story at the 11th hour to submit an hour and a half before the deadline Sunday night.

And there is a guinea pig show tomorrow morning two minutes from my house. We're not entering, but we definitely want to see what's there.

Probably shovelling snow in the morning (we're gettin 10-25 today/overnight, hope it's the lower end of things). If the roads clear off in time, I'll be returning a dvd to the library--multi part set and I left one in the computer. Hope to do some reading and maybe even some writing...have to see where things go.

Hope you enjoy your zombie killing (and spending time with your sis).

Popping a couple of Tylenol and trying to deal with a screeching four-year-old while also dealing with mother nature's unwanted gift.

And meanwhile attempting to keep my German streak up on Duolingo.

And maybe watch some Game Grumps, and any let's plays of Papers, Please I can find.

Training the dog (woo classes are back again!), posting my first item I ever sold on ebay (wooo?), playing the Long Dark (must get 200 day achievement...97 days to go!), teaching dog to close doors and idk. Clean.

I went out with a friend for dinner tonight, so that was nice. Tomorrow I'm going shopping with my mom and then babysitting at night. No idea what I'm doing Sunday yet, but I do need to clean and I'll honestly probably just read.

That sounds fun, Kaijin. I hope it gets your sister's mind off her troubles. This weekend, I think I'll finish watching 2 anime titles I'm into and I'll check out some comics. I just got hired at a new job but it won't start until I finish my orientation stuff, so I'm still mos def living on the cheap. :)

I was not on F!S at the usual o'clock because tomorrow is birthday party time, and I was making Anon's Insane Lemon Cake. Cake is made (looks good), soaked with lemon syrup (that tasted good), and the lemon mousse of doom is done (tastes good too, and was the part I was most scared of). Tomorrow-- today now I guess-- I'll put it all together and make lemon buttercream. Like the kind anon who gave me the recipe, I'm also not using the recipe's recommended type of buttercream because that shit's too much work and I've already put like 4 hours into this thing.
