We should totally have one TG community, for all the male petrolheads and slashy fangirls to congregate as one, because that would work out brilliantly.

But hey. It could be worth a try ^^ (because sometimes the slashy fangirls are the petrolheads, and as such would sometimes like to talk about the cars instead of the slash)

I'm totally being sarcastic. Because while the slashy fangirls can be petrolheads and want to talk about the cars, the male pertolheads are more than likely not going to take kindly to the slash. Hence, one community for all not with the working so well. ;D

I've seen a few that are less fic oriented and more for news. hot_gear is good.

I don't think this fandom would be hurt at all by a little expansion. Maybe someone will take this as an opportunity to create a more general community on LJ.

I noticed the other day that tg_fics has been deleted, too :( It wasn't very active, but it was nice to have a fandomish/ficcy place that wasn't limited to slash. Because some people like het and carsex too :P

But yeah. Genfic and cars are more my thing anyway, so... a general comm might be good.
