Why do you think it will impact Europe worse than America?

I've never said that, but I haven't heard of an American refugee crisis going on?

But as Americans like to point out, the US is large. You can drive for hours without leaving the state, while in Europe you're in another country by taking the wrong turn. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if Europe as a whole 'shared', but as it is countries, like Germany and Sweden, that's easily the same size or smaller than some of your states are carrying a lot of the burden.

We call them illegal aliens instead of refugees. And we have been dealing with the problem for a loooonggggg time.

This. There is currently a surge of people fleeing violence in Central America coming across the border. We just have a much narrower definition of what we consider refugee, and we assume they are just "illegal aliens" until they prove otherwise in court.

The UN has listed the US as having 491,730 refugees and asylum seekers. That's less than half of what Europe is dealing with. Of course there are illegal immigrants as well in addition to this, but so has Europe. The Schengen agreement hasn't exactly helped with that.
