if it's between a non-Amish person and an Amish person, I can see the "forbidden" romance aspect. If it's between two Amish people, I have zero idea. I don't read romance novels, honestly. Do the Amish guys look sexy with six packs, huge biceps, and blinding white teeth when they raise barns or s/t? Do they have sex before being wed and it's ~scandalous~? Maybe it's the purity thing and the desire to be taken, ravaged by someone?
