You military? I remember being out in the field. It would always get cold and half the time it would rain.

Yep.

Well, we got one night of freezing rain, but the rest of the week it was too cold for it.

That said, at least it was a balmy -5 to -10 most of the time. The last time I was out there it was -38.

What's training with people like a decade younger than you like?

(do you have mixed gender units, got to say I don't know much about your military)

Not too bad, since I'm still in decent shape and have the mentality of a teenager ;p Spend a fair amount of time talking to 17-year-old officer cadets about League of Legends and sick gaming rigs. I'm also far from the oldest person there - our platoon includes a 46-year-old will-be intelligence officer (and former detective of about 20 years).

Yes, our military is fully integrated, right down to the combat arms and special forces. During training exercises I sleep in tents right next to people with dicks and shit in the same boxes.
