I honestly think that most trans headcanons are sexist. The transwoman headcanons are the women that like stereotypical "guy" things and look more physically masculine, the opposite for transman headcanons. It's frankly ridiculous and terrible.

Agreed. The only trans headcanon that I've ever seen in one of my fandoms is for the feminine-looking guy, because a guy who looks feminine must really be physically female, right? Why couldn't the buff soldier or the cute girly-girl be trans?

YEARS ago I saw someone float the idea of SGA's John Shepard being a transman, and I thought that was pretty awesome.

See, I would like to see more trans headcanons like that, because those could be really interesting. I just hate how the ones I see are always so sexist and gender essentialist.
