But I still saw a lot of people attacking anyone who dared to question Bowie, even if they were polite about it and/or were sexual assault victims themselves.

Without going back and reading through the whole thread myself, I'm asking if you think people were actually "attacking", because the "even if they were polite about it and/or were sexual assault victims themselves" leads me to believe that they were disagreeing, or offering an alternate opinion. I'm hoping that you don't mean that disagreement = attacking.

I don't think disagreeing with someone=attacking obviously. -__-
I just remember that the pro-Bowie side being pretty aggressive and dismissive about other people's different opinions.
