Re: Old fandoms you still read

Quite a lot of them, really. I like the canon to be finished definitely before I start writing for it, and often before I start reading for it as well. Also, I like a lot of older canons just generally. My ongoing canons are fewer.

Specific older fandoms: Star Treks TOS, DS9 and TNG, Sherlock Holmes, Wild Wild West (TV series, not movie), Highlander, Labyrinth, A-Team (series again), Man From Uncle (series, though also the movie now), Sapphire and Steel, I would read The Champions fic if much existed, Magnificent Seven (mostly TV series), Discworld, UFO (1970s series), Mutant X ...

A lot, basically. Particularly sci-fi/western/action/spy series from the 60s through 90s, and fantasy movies from the 80s. Every so often I get an urge to read fic for certain things, go dig up everything the internet ever had on them (which is sometimes very, very little) and occasionally write something small for them myself.
