The Mummy, sometimes anyway because the fanfic requires a bit of digging through to find anything decent.

Lord of the Rings, I still like to poke around there sometimes.

Occasionally I get the urge to go through DBZ B/V fic, but it's usually pretty short-lived because it's not really changed at all over the years(high school AU and 'three years' fic everywhere).

And I like to go back and read A-Team fanfic too, movie or TV show, I do not care as I love both.

I've probably got more but I can't remember them atm.

Got any Mummy recs? Those movies are my happy place (well, the first two), but I haven't read too much fic.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry nonnie but not atm, I'm on my tablet rather than my PC right now so I don't have access to any of my bookmarks. I'll try to remember to have a look tomorrow for you.

(Also I mostly read ship fic, but I can have a root around for some GEN if that's more your thing?)

It's no bother nonnie. :)

Oh man Rick/Evie is my jaaaaaam in these movies, like one of my top OTP's of all-time. I also found myself liking Jonathan/Ardeth over time as well because, idk I think they're both great and the idea of them hooking up wouldn't leave my brain.

Likewise on Rick/Evie. Evie is probably my all-time fictional hero, and her and Rick are just adorable and awesome and funny together. I will say I originally thought Jonathan/Ardeth was a bit pair-the-spares, but since Jonathan is the funniest thing ever (and surprisingly badass in places) and Ardeth is badass, the hottest thing on the planet, and also surprisingly funny in places, I find it very hard to mind ;)

Evie is just the best, the absolute best and I never tire of watching her go off on her grand adventures across Egypt.

Oh yeah I do get you on the pair the spares aspect of that relationship, but something about the potential of it grabs me. And as you said, Ardeth is the hottest thing around(though I am also very partial to Evie and Ankhesenamun).

I always found the 7 year gap way more interesting than the 3 year gap when it came to Bulma/Vegeta.

I mean, hooking up and accidentally getting pregnant? Not too interesting honestly - any male and female with compatible genetic material can do that in the right circumstances, and Bulma isn't exactly one to have many hangups in the area of banging a hot alien even if he WAS a mass murdering space pirate.

But the 7 years gap...having those two people drifting into becoming a kind-of real couple and real family who actually co-parent and live together and have an actual relationship? And actually fall in love (even if it's a weird, not-openly-expressed kind of love)? THAT is SO INTERESTING. I'd gladly read a ton of fic about THAT gap. But everyone was so much more interested in writing dumb OOC Twilight-y 3-year-gap stuff.

I feel you nonnie, I feel you so hard.

Like I wanted to read some three year fic the first time I got into the pairing, because I hadn't seen it before and I was curious to see what people came up with. Then with everything after the Buu Saga I thought we'd get some fic on the gap in-between that point, like what made Vegeta stick about, how did he change? But nope, still nothing but 3 year fic, which was a bummer.

Granted there is some fic out there dealing with post or pre-Buu stuff, but it's not as common sadly.
