What do you want to do, but are too embarrassed to?

I want to binge watch True Detective and Black Sails again, but then hubby would catch on to my secret obsessions for sure. (As if he doesn't have a good idea already.)

Have him watch it with you! lol but I understand. I never want to seem too intense (trying to keep my obsessions low key is hard)...but some people see right through me, call me out without a word form my part.

I want to assassinate Iain Duncan Smith, but I just don't know where to begin and I feel bad about killing even him. Help me get over that F!S, please.

Do it! its honestly not that awkward once you get over the whole "omg I'm in a sex shop" thing and it's fun to just see how crazy the toys can be. Also the staff tend to be super chill :)

It's pretty chill.

I walked into one by accident, (I was in high school) thinking it was a mask/costume shop.

The people were friendly enough, but still being in uniform + "Can I help you?" + a quick glance around the store = me redder than a ripe tomato

Trust me employees could give less of a shit about that kind of thing.

I promise you they won't be concerned with you're looks at all. But if you feel the need to research the products beforehand so you at least know what you're looking for, there are plenty of online shops. They tend to have thorough descriptions and reviews.

Your looks and age are irrelevant. I was underage at the time and had no experience. The women at the shop were middle aged and normal in appearance. I'm sure the people at the shop would be more than happy to assist a *future* paying customer.

So, go for it if you're really interested. You can do it /anything Philstar!!

NA I did the accident thing with my in-laws. Yeah. Turned out they are very relaxed people with a great sense of humor.

Presuming you're female (I never pay attention to the gender of the named users, sorry) do you have any female friends you'd feel comfortable going with - ones you're already totally comfortable talking about sex with?

In my experience it's a lot more fun to go with one or more female friends. Also, going at night, and getting a bit drunk first makes it a lot more fun, IMO. Though I suppose if you're going to be buying stuff, then being drunk may not make for the best purchasing decisions.

It's not even that it's uncomfortable, that's not why I like to be a little drunk before I go in. I just find that being drunk keeps me from getting too analytical about everything (perhaps this is not a problem you have, in which case disregard this). I'm gray ace, so being analytical about sex is basically my default. The booze helps relax me and also makes me a little stupid, and thus, less analytical, which makes the whole experience a lot better. Because a lot of the stuff in sex shops seems pretty garish and tacky if you're not in the right head space.

Wear shirts with designs or logos on them. I prefer sold colors, maybe a very mild blend of colors, but overall? Bland solid colors.

Publicly dance to a song that is very special to me.

I don't know. I tend not to give a shit about what people think of me and what I do, so it'd have to be something REALLY outrageous, or a bunch of "embarrassing" things happening at once.

I don't want to mow the lawn, so I want to not. I better mow the lawn...
