Yeah I'm not a fan of this either.

If someone wants me to watch a thing they like then they need to tell me about it, not just point out that it's better than x because that isn't very helpful tbh. Also I find that if you have to prop up the thing you like by tearing something else down, you aren't all that confident in your preferred thing.

I personally loved Jurassic World, it was fun and silly and did what I wanted it to. Do I have some niggles with it? Yeah, but that happens with most movies I watch even when I love them.

Thankfully I didn't see too much tearing down of JW to prop up Fury Road until after I'd seen both movies otherwise I might have been put off Fury Road myself, but instead I got to see and enjoy both movies.
