I actually think the best way to shut down tumblr bullshit is to ignore it entirely. I have a very peaceful tumblr and it's partially because I dont respond to asks in public.

I've noticed wank comes out more the more you respond in public.

It can depend on what asks. I answer nice asks in public and I get little to no wank.

I also tend to not get involved in any kind of debating anymore so there's that.

SA Yeah nice asks can be answered publicly, but I still generally don't because I feel like answering "Thanks!" clogs up my feed so I only answer in public if I have a lot to say.

Avoiding debates can also help, but I occasionally state my opinion and I still rarely get anyone on my case. I am just not fun for trolls because I won't acknowledge them.

Also having anon turned off helps a lot too. When I made my Tumblr, I made sure to have anon off, and I've never had wank in my inbox.

Oh yeah definitely, I have anon off as well. That also comes with not answering in public since you can't answer anons privately, so if you really don't want wank it's better to turn it off.
