Pff that's pretty extreme, to say that no one can even mention having a mental illness on the internet or they're lying.

People who abuse it and use it as a "get out of jail free card" all the time, sure.

But what you're saying here has the implication of "you can't talk about it or you're lying" which is not helpful for anyone when it comes to understanding these things. Sweeping things under the rug and never talking about them doesn't do any good.

Opening up communication about them and making people informed does.
