I'm okay with some Jedi having sex and romance, like the different eras having different attitudes about it. But for some reason when I heard that Obi-Wan had a love interest, I was like "No."

Agreed. Obi-Wan is such the quintessential Jedi that I just can't with him being romantically involved with anyone (canonically, anyway).

Dude, that poor man has sacrificed so much shit and gotten jack in return. Being able to love someone was the least he could have. and even THAT was taken from him, both by his devotion to the Jedi AND by...circumstances. :C

I was completely behind that romance and wish it could have happened differently...
