I'm curious about the CM spinoff, too. I like that this one seems to differentiate itself from the original series a bit, in a way that "Suspect Behavior" never really seemed to, and I think they've got a decent cast on their hands. Basically, so long as they can create the same sort of good, strong character chemistry that the original series has, I think that'll go a long way in helping with its success.

And I hope they do have some success with this one. I get why people are wary, but it'd be cool if they can ease people's concerns and doubts.

I agree with all of this. Watching SB, one of the things that bugged me was that they never clearly defined what a Red Cell was and how it was different from the regular BAU. They both seemed to deploy rapidly and deal with sensitive cases.

But, yes, it all comes down to chemistry. I think there's reason to hope there'll be good chemistry and I hope there'll be interesting cases.
