Ugh. No. Do you read action/adventure fics fics only written by people who get regularly attacked in their real lives? Do you only read torture fics by people with experience in torture? Do you only read historical fics by people who lived in that period? You don't have to have experienced something to write about it.

I know at least two authors in my fandom who are asexual but who write really good porn.

Except those are really not good analogies here. A better one would be ghost stories written by people who are militant materialists and think that anyone who even entertains the possibility of a supernatural realm existing is a fool.

No, it really wouldn't. That's not what an asexual is, or at least not what all of them are. You have a pretty narrow understanding of asexual there, as does the secret. Sure there are some asexuals who are anti-sex to the point they think it is awful and no one should ever like it. But that is not most of them at all.

I'm talking about the asexuals who got me thoroughly sick of the words "cake," "zucchini," and "squish," back in 2014: cake does nothing for them and they can't understand all the fuss and altogether too much fuss is made about cake. There was definitely an attitude of superiority to all those promiscuous sexysexuals for whom sex is a valued part of their lives.

They exist, sure. But they are a very small portion of asexuals. Those asexuals probably aren't writing porn. And the secret didn't specify them, it just said asexuals. I know asexuals who write very good porn. You can be asexual and write porn.
