I tend to agree.

I mean, if they're not American they might just have a really boring taste, but otherwise... it reminds me of the Americans who felt entitled to "finally" getting to see HP in America.

just worse, because there's at least something interesting about the American wizarding word and because Britain is already one shade of mainstream blandness.

Who in the world had that reaction about Harry Potter? Seriously, I have never once heard that. Seems like 99% of American Harry Potter superfans are Anglophiles with British boarding school fantasies.

There were people curious about it, which I don't see as much of a problem, and people who were excited about it. But people throw around "entitled" way too much lately.

Harry Potter's wizarding world is pretty interesting. We already see what wizarding England is like, and people want to see other countries. Some people who are American like to imagine what their country is like in the wizarding world.

ayrt

I mean, I get that. Being curious and wanting to see something is fine. Actually, it's great. Seems completely normal to want to see what the wizard school would be like in your country.

That's not entitlement though.

Americans in the magical creatures and where to find them movie tag.

Oh fuck off. Classing people who are excited about a movie as entitled are ridiculous. Just let people have their squee without demonizing them for it.
