I usually drink some brand of English tea (typically a Ceylon) for every day use.

I'm quite fond of darjeelings though, and I have some Pu'Erh at home that is absolutely lovely.

I also keep quite a good stock of flavoured black tea blends (orange spice, chai, Earl Grey, Lady Grey, Market Spice etc).

As for greens I typically have Gyokuro, and jasmine, although I currently also have a lotus flavoured brand from Vietnam.

Other than that I keep a few tisanes around for when I want to go to bed. Peppermint, chamomile, lemon... etc. I think I currently have an acai one and a gingerbread spice one.

I'm not really a fan of rooibos, but I occasionally get gifted one, so I tend to have them in stock in case company is interested.

I really, really like tea.

I can tell by your post! What's Gyokuro like? I never drank that.

It's a very common Japanese green. Which means it's very grassy, earthy, and somewhat mild when brewed properly (i.e. water well below boiling, or as a Japanese friend once advised- boil your kettle, turn it off, drop an ice cube in and then pour).

If you brew it poorly it turns into a sulfurous astringent mess of mouth puckering.

It's really very lovely ice cold, though which is usually how I like to drink it. I reserve it for the summer.
