Sense8 had awesome queer characters. I think I was more pleased about the gay and lesbian character than any other media. (lesbian character is also a trans woman which is awesome)

Sense8 seemed like a cool idea for a show, and I love how much diversity it has, but I cannot stand watching shows that waste so much time on sex scenes. They just drone on and on and on, and can we please get back to the plot already?

Well, normally I'd agree, I usually find long sex scenes boring. But in the case of Sense8, I can't, because for one, the show spent so much time on emotional development and developing relationships and "normal" life circumstances that felt even more thematically important than even the sci-fi stuff - which was more or less tacked on as an afterthought. For another, the sex scenes in question were queer as often as they weren't, and you rarely see long, loving, highly sensual gay sex scenes. Also, that orgy scene was probably the hottest thing I've seen outside of porn, so there's that, too.
