They certainly weren't upset at Elizabeth Banks playing Rita Repulsa. Or the all-Asian cast of Big Hero 6 reduced to two Asian characters.

I've seen people who absolutely were offended by those cases, though, so I mean. Generalizations like this don't really work.

Elizabeth Banks is the best choice for Rita. Also Rita was played by a latina since season 2 in america, this wasn't the first time she was asianerased.

The actress who played her came from the Philippines and IMDb pro lists her ethnicity as being part Asian so...?
