It's what I do on male dominated spaces.

imo it's just easier to get along with people if they're not fretting about if you're coming from different life circumstances or got some sort of motive.

I've done the same thing, and you're wrong. There are a lot of places where it's easier and safer to have people think you're a woman, especially if you want to get anyone to listen to what you have to say.

The nature of privilege is that you never see your own. Try it both ways and see what you learn.
