This whole debacle has made me realize how pointless it is to be in fandom. Fandom is not happiness and enjoyment and excitement. It's just wank and criticism and outrage and whining over every last detail.

I'm just gonna ignore this and continue to read the books I know and love. Don't really care about this latest. (I'm an American and never really wanted to know how JKR's wizarding world played out in other countries--I love the books for their escapism.)
