Yeah, there are some people in the spn fandom who are so strict about who tops that it gets ridiculous. I've seen a lot of comments on fics where people rant about being "blindsided" because the "wrong" character bottomed and then berate the author for not warning them. I've unfollowed bottom!sam and bottom!dean fanatics on tumblr because some of them have gotten weirdly rude about the whole thing

Personally, I'm a fan of switching when it comes to Wincest (I do lean a bit towards bottom!Sam though...I have a thing for the bigger/stronger character getting fucked. Not that Dean is small by any means)
