Major network TV shows. I mean the stuff on ABC, CBS, NBC. And to a lesser degree, FOX and The CW.

I only judge people if they only watch shows on these networks. Because man, there is a lot of good television out there right now, and IMO very little of it is on these networks. IMO most (though not all) of the stuff on the "big three" networks is like the intellectual equivalent of eating a twinkie. I can understand why sometimes a twinkie is what you want. But if that's all a person watches, that just makes me think they are categorically unable to appreciate more complex and substantial stories.

Or they can only afford basic cable. That's also a possibility.

Fair enough. I was unable to afford a decent cable package (or netflix) up until recently. That's why I downloaded uTorrent. Are there really still people too virtuous to pirate things? I thought pirating and/or streaming was basically ubiquitous at this point? Is it not?
