I tried making and using buttercream frosting today! It found it a bit easier to handle but that could be because some people gave me some great advice on how to work with it.

Oooo, nice. I'm glad it turned out well. Baking is actually something I'm okay with compared to regular cooking. Baking I can just follow a recipe and it is straightforward (unless it is something fancy and complicated). I have more of a hard time with regular food.

Yeah, it was pretty fun. The actual sugar cookies taste great. The buttercream tastes better than the royal icing.

Buttercream is the best. And so are suger cookies. Sounds really tasty. I think my mother knew I was having a bad day because she just made up a batch of chocolate chip cookies.

Homemade buttercream is amazing, so much better than canned frosting and not too difficult to make. Congrats on your baking accomplishment!
