I had nightmares about some childhood traumatic stuff that I'd forgotten about and then had to take a painkiller even though I've not been taking them because I was in so much pain.

But now I'm happily doped up. And an awesome person on my Tumblr wrote a fic for me and I'm doing better and going to take a nap I think. And hopefully have some happier dreams.

I tried making and using buttercream frosting today! It found it a bit easier to handle but that could be because some people gave me some great advice on how to work with it.

I should be finishing up some school projects, but it's my last day of spring break, so I'm napping on and off to basketball and I'm going to start meal prepping soon. I did a lot of Adulting today (usually I hate that phrase but getting a new fridge, grocery shopping, and deep cleaning the disgusting area behind the fridge counts) so I feel like I've earned it.

Pretty bored, kinda lonely, and a bit sad (melancholy, really).

But, I did manage to clean my house and that made me feel slightly better.

Today is a fairly relaxing day. Signing my life away as I try to buy a house though.

Read books earlier and am cooking for my parents later.

This week is super busy, so I'm looking forward to Easter next weekend.

I did a bunch of spring cleaning type stuff which felt really good. Also laundry. So it's been nice in that regard. Think I'm going to make some pasta for lunch shortly as well so.

I'm pissing out of my ass. I've filled the toilet bowl four times already in under three hours. I don't feel sick, I just... liquishit like there's no tomorrow. And I can't even remember what exactly I ate that could be responsible for this flushing out.

I slept through to 2 in the afternoon, which I hadn't entirely intended to do, but I've decided I don't really regret it. Sleep debt had to catch up sometime.

Had a slight scare regarding one of my dog's insulin prescriptions, but thankfully I've got an angel in the form of a vet, so I managed to get a new pen for her for tomorrow morning.

Other than that, taking it easy and enjoying the fact I have an upcoming 3-day weekend next week!

I slept way the hell in, went to the pharmacy for chocolate eggs and meds (and for once!!! there was no conflict about getting one of them which needs to be shipped in special fridge boxes and normally CVS bitches about it) and my fiancé is visiting for one more day today and we have the stuff to make kale chips and pie. And most of my homework for the next almost-week is done except (re!)reading Macbeth!!! And my students start To Kill a Mockingbird tomorrow.

So: despite my forecasts that I was going to be very gloomy today (was in pain last night, Easter stuff is gonna be hard for my family this year and I can't be there), I'm in a nice mood :)

I've been alternating between tiering for the Umi event on Love Live EN and reading The Godfather. I'm at 16k points for the former (aiming for 55k for T2), 70% into the book for the latter, and my heart aches for Thomas Hagen ;A;

I spent the weekend taking care of an elderly relative who had food poisoning. At least they're getting better now and I was able to get someone else to help, so Sunday is better than Friday or Saturday, at least.

Pretty chill.

Did my weekly shop, and starting to catch up on everything I've been following.

But mostly, I, and a lot of people in my office get exams results tomorrow. The pass rate is only 50% including retake, and if you fail you generally get kicked out the department and back to uniform.

So nervous as fuck. We've all put a lot of work into this, and we all want to do the month + long course together passing this puts us on together. It'll be just like our training days, but with the inherent smugness of having been out their on the streets.

It's mostly been a weekend of doing some chores and dicking around, which is nice in it's own way, and today was no exception.

(I got some stuff ticked off in WoW that I wanted which was nice and I'm closer to a goal in it).

I had an almost 5 hour train ride not to mention two long cab rides, and now that I'm home again I'm really considering napping instead of being productive

I've spent it all wrangling visual basic and listening to toddler music on youtube to keep my nephew busy while I'm at it. And then I fell asleep during nap time, so all I've accomplished today is my game almost having a working day/night cycle. Yaaaaaay.

I made pizza for all the family and they loved it! Two big pizza: one with ham and Monte Veronese cheese and one with tuna and onions. They were crunchy on the endge but soft and cooked perfectly.
I'm so proud.
I was sick and didn't eat much, but the family devoured them and praised me a lot. /happy sigh

Today was good. Sis and I went to our parents for lunch (Spare ribs) and while we were there I loaded a bunch of music on mum's new tablet--and helped her learn to download stuff from the play store.

It's also probably my last day of March break. I say probably because they've forecasted a nor'easter for tomorrow (snowfall warning and all) and with the precipitation they're calling for, we may have a snow day for school--I work there, I'm not a student. We also had a snow day a week ago Friday, so we've already had one extra day for March Break. Which will put us down to a three day week this week cus of Good Friday. I'll take it. :)
