Re: How is everyone's Sunday?
So: despite my forecasts that I was going to be very gloomy today (was in pain last night, Easter stuff is gonna be hard for my family this year and I can't be there), I'm in a nice mood :)
Re: How is everyone's Sunday?
Macbeth has always been my favorite Shakespeare play. I was sad the movie version never came out here. I need to find a copy and watch it. Did you know that it is sort of based on real life people. Except that in the real life story, Macbeth was actually the heir to the throne because the throne switched between two families. But he was passed over, and that is when everything went down.
Re: How is everyone's Sunday?
Macbeth is my second favorite! (Henry IV Part I will always have my heart.) I haven't read it in a class setting since high school--almost ten years!--and I'm super jazzed. I always imagine it staged, in my head, as a kind of bleak postwar Easton European power struggle. Not sure why. :P
