I have the opposite problem. Writers trytoo hard and craud fics with o. b. and slang. I prefer a modern contemporary style with a light sparkling of Woodhouse in characters' speech.

I read "a light spanking" at first, and was thinking that's exactly what most Wodehouse fic needs. Well, "light" is optional, but you see what I mean.
