Dream tattoos, existing tattoos, other people's that you love, thoughts, questions, ideas, stories. Go.

For me: I have two (lineart of Saturn, and a semicolon, both on my left wrist). I want at least 3 more. I'm saving up!!

After seeing Lion King on Broadway, I really want to get some kind of Lion King themed tattoo (I don't have any). But I don't know what or where or who to get it from.

Yoooo Broadway tattoos! I really want a Hamilton one! Either "I'll write my way out" or "Let me be a part of the narrative."

I'm sure you could find someone to give you a Lion King tattoo--a lyric or a quote, an image, something. Do you have any more specific ideas?

Also, isn't that show amazing? I saw it when I was 18 and cried like a baby.

I cried so many times. SO MANY. I almost sobbed during both renditions of Circle of Life. Those sobs where you can't catch your breath even. Afterwards, I had to like...take a break before I could even talk about how much I enjoyed it.

I'd like Ruin and Despair from the Darksiders games somewhere on my body. Either on calves, ribs or below the clavicles.

I want the original Rosie the Riveter on my thigh or calf really badly when I have the money.

I already have Transformers insignias on my right shoulder blade, AvP covers half sleeve on the right and robotic horse and bull half sleeve on the left.

As for tattoos on others, I love that big piece by Victor Portugal: a biomechanic horse in black and grey with red blood coming out its nostril.

I have one on one shoulder. Saving the other shoulder for something important.

I would really love to get a full back design, but I'm not sure what it would be.

What's on your shoulder, if I may ask?

It's hard to describe, which is why I didn't try lol. It's just a personal symbol that I came up with when I was around 16. I waited until I was 25 to get it, so I could "be sure" I wanted it.

Honestly? Like every once in a blue moon I get the idea of actually getting a winter soldier sleeve done - but a) no money b) it's sort of huge and permanent and c) my family might just disown me if i get a communist star on my arm. Pro points: it would solve the scar/"what happened to your arm"-thing.

Could you maybe do it with the re-purposed Cap-style star he has in some of the comics? (I'm so bad at keeping up with comics I'm sorry I can't be more specific!) Or without the star at all? That would be SUPER cool.

I have a plan to cover some scars, too...my two least favorite scars are, however, in the middle of my damn face, so that's a bummer. (Not that either of them would remotely lend themselves to tattooing, lol)

Also when I saw you'd commented I was like "this will be Bucky related, probably," lol

My dream tatto is to have a dragon down my arm. Unfortunately, I have a very low pain tolerance, so I probably won't ever get one done.

When I got my tattoos they hurt WAY less than I expected! I have a very high pain tolerance but I'd say a roughly normal sensitivity (as in, I don't not find things painful when most people do, I'm just lucky in being able to not freak out). Mine are very small and on the inside of my wrist, and they barely stung. The next day or so they hurt a bit like a sunburn and that was it!

I have a (technically) fandom tattoo on the inside of my left forearm.

I'm saving up for a fox/book related tattoo on my calf. I know what I want, but there's sooooo many different styles that I love that I can't choose, I just keep collecting images into a folder and hope the place I found can either help me choose or find an awesome way to blend the styles.

Cmon, tell us what it is!!

If I were to get a fandom tattoo I would probably get something from the West Wing. "What kind of day has it been?" or, maybe, "we'll make more vaccines," which would have to be really small as it only really means anything in the context of the episode in which it appears--but in that context it's a very brave and kind and optimistic thing to say.

I have a quote I've been wanting to get tattooed on me for forever ("Yesterday was blue, like smoke" from the play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead) but I kinda want a visual with it and idk what... I have some ideas but nothing specific. Any have any ideas?

I only have one right now and I want a few, I just gotta save up.

But yeah, maybe using...blue smoke somehow? The burning bridge from a similar monologue?

I always wanted to get a small one related to a story I'm working on. It would have sentimental value to me even if no one else got the reference. I don't know if I'll ever be able to get it though since I'm picky about the ink I want to use.

I love looking at tattoos on other people and asking about them. There's usually always a story behind it or a specific reason why they got the one they did. It's also fascinating to me how people turn their bodies into works of art.

I have one, and will only ever have one. It's on my left shoulder, about the size of my hand. The image is a blue feather -- I had someone ask if it was Harvest Moon-related, but I've never played that, lol. The text is in French and is a reference to a friend of mine who passed away. I had the tattoo done two months after the funeral.

My family is STILL not wild about it, Asian parents that they are, but whatever.

No tattoos for me. I would like to get one just for the pain (a traditional japanese one on back and arms, bit by bit through many sessions) but I love going to sentou and onsen and that makes it a no-no.
