29, as someone who loves it when people still aren't over Romana, or Ace, I kind of hope that never happens either.

32, I think it might be because much as Marthafen always said "I don't know where the Rose fangirls get the idea that we're oppressing them!" it stung when one of the few people who writes inventive, coherent fic in this fandom always seemed to be hosting a thread full of people going "OMG I H8 ROSEFEN". I don't think that was remotely her fault, though, and she writes beautifully. She is one of the only writers in Whoverse who I will read no matter what.

God, let the coming of Donna end this round of nonsense. May her slaps jar us all back to sanity.

I ended up seeing the movie right after I submitted that secret, and yes yes yes. Hot and gay and gay and hot. And Nikolai/Kirill. :) And some blond chick, but who cares, because Nikolai went home with Kirill and fucked him into the mattress.

We (my house mates and I) just watched it on DVD Sat night. (I'd seen it back in 2004) Half of me wants to yell and cheer and say "Watch it! It was stunning and such a great ending to a epic show!" The other half thinks you have the right idea. That being said, please don't *not* watch it too long. It's worth the ride being over because DAMN they got it right.

PS: I just LOVE seeing other Farscape fans here!!

PPS: Also it has some really great rewatch value. I've seen it 3 times since Saturday!

Konoka's personality is more like Sakura's than Tomoyo's, IMO. And like someone else pointed out, Setsuna's really the one with the obsessive crush.

Well, you're wrong in one respect, if not all. I have no knowledge of him being a slut, so that's not what drew me in. I started liking him after I heard REDEMPTION a few years back, that and because of a friend at a summer academy who pinned his face to her wall. I don't OMG♥HIM, but I still like him enough to roll my eyes at you.

As others have said - hate the man if you like, but insulting his vocals just makes me laugh and consider you tone deaf.

4. I'm so glad someone else said it. I like Schmendrick/Molly, but when I first read the book, I was so hoping that he and the Unicorn would pretty much be BFF or something. Mostly, I just like Schmendrick. So. Much.

36. I'm not an animator, but I'm at an art college with a lot of animation-student friends, majoring in something that often overlaps... and I haven't met a person who didn't think that movie was awesomesauce (except one guy, but he had a legit excuse). Shame? Why?


44. He's a large part of it. Although man, I feel so bad, the way he gets treated like crap--even by children.


45. Y'know what? He was justified in killing her. Well, I mean, in a fictional context, because IRL, killing just isn't justified. He's a horrible horrible human being, and every single thing you said about him is true. But the way Marion manipulated and used him made me just as sick as everything he did. I'm sorry, I hate it when the good guys are manipulative and suffer no remorse for it, and don't get called up. He's not misunderstood, but after that reveal, when she'd been leading him on for that long... He lost everything he'd been hoping for.
Also, Rob? He is a dick. Of course he's a better person than Guy, but he's still an absolute prick and a half.

Aside from that, that whole last episode... until the third series comes out, I'm just pretending it didn't happen, because to compensate for Marion's actress choosing to leave the show, the writers had to backpedal like mad on the character development for both of them, but especially for him. That pissed me off more than anything.
