I'd like to try someplace outside the US. Maybe Canada for my first time!

You should go to Montreal sometime! I went for a week with my friend and it's beautiful and amazing.

I'll look into it! Right now we have no preferences so any direction is great.

That could be really nice! I would love to visit Canada - maybe a city like Vancouver or Quebec, or maybe the Canadian Rockies, which are absolutely beautiful.

I mean I've been to Canada, but I was about ten years old and I don't remember much about it, though I do remember it was fun. We were also barely in Canada - at night we could literally see the lights of Cedar Point across Lake Erie from where we were staying. I remember that it was pretty, and I thought it was weird that the beach had no sand, and the cottage we rented had an NES in it with Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt which my cousin hooked up and that was really fun, and some other details that don't have anything to do with Canada itself but anyway it was a good trip.

But yeah it'd be fun to go back as an adult! In the summer, though. I have basically no tolerance for Indiana winters as it is...

You live in the US right? What region? Aren't you like central/Midwestish? (I feel like I remember that from another conversation)

Yep! I live in Oklahoma. Right in the middle of everything just about.

Seconding, where's your next trip?

And how was your last one? Was the Lion King as amazing as you thought it would be?

Someplace outside the US. Perhaps Canada.

I LOVED it. DC was amazing. Never felt unsafe and never met anyone rude. Loved the museums and such.

And Lion King was more amazing than I thought. I literally teared up about 8 times and quietly sobbed during both renditions of The Circle of Life.

For Canada, a cruise is a cool option. We did one out of New York when I was a kid and I loved it. Or Toronto or Niagara Falls or Montreal are awesome. I've heard amazing things about the Canadian Rockies too.

DC is amazing, I'm just glad you had an awesome time there.

So glad the Lion King was worth it, I know how much you were looking forward to it. Did you do the Bodies exhibit? How was that?

I'd like to see whales wherever I go!

The Bodies exhibit was awesome. When you turn the corner and see that huge horse and rider...I was in awe.
