Pay off part of my student loans or save it for a downpayment on an apartment when I finally get a job.

I got a decent return, but I ended up spending most of it on my trip to Boston.

I did my taxes early this year, so the return has already come and gone. Most of it went to a new couch because my old one was a busted piece of shit. The rest I put into savings.

I'm getting a pretty decent return and about half of it (when it finally gets deposited...) is going towards paying off the rest of my car. The rest of it isn't quite a big enough amount to make a significant dent in my student loans, but I do want to have some more money in my account as padding for emergencies and also car repairs that I know will be coming up soon (my brake pads were at 3 mm in January so it's been hovering at the back of my mind for a little while now to go in and get them checked again/maybe changed).

I will probably also buy some YGO cards, but not too many :B Perhaps just a playset of Artifact Sanctum, been wanting them for a while...

Already got mine - it's all going into my savings. If I get the nicer apartment I want in the fall, it will more than cover the difference in rent of where I'm living now (I'm in grad school, so I would not rely on this as a permanent life solution. I figure I can be a little more fast and loose when I know I'll be out of here in two years)

Replace my laptop that blew up so I can get some work done when my parents decide they don't want to use their tablets to play Candy Crush, get my passport, and throw the rest of it in the bank.

Pay some bills and put the rest in savings. Maybe set aside some of it to buy the Sailor Moon R blu-rays.

Savings/Rent this Summer if job hunt takes awhile.

I'm probably going to have to adjunct for a year or two. It seems you can't get hired as full time faculty without letting some college abuse you for low pay for awhile. Joy.

I might give up and see if I can get into the National Parks Service. It's good pay and benefits, plus I'd be teaching cool stuff to people who actually want to learn! Today I watched the prof I'm TAing for give a FUCKING WONDERFUL, ENERGETIC lecture to a crowd of bored assholes yawning and looking at facebook on their laptops. You could be the best teacher possible and hardly anybody gives a damn.

I know I taught well this semester--I've gotten excellent reviews and a damn certificate in teaching--but everybody did horribly on the midterm because they didn't bother to read the textbook and likely didn't take notes in lecture. They definitely don't do the reading for my sections. Why bother? Why not wear a fucking Smokey Bear hat and talk about geysers? at least you get dental

Sock it away for an eventual, necessary PC replacement.

It'd be student loans but I'm already about to kick that to the curb finally.

Take a trip. My best friend has a lot more money than me and she keeps bringing up possibilities, and it sucks so much cause I DO want to go on them but I just can't afford to do it as often as she can

If my paperwork works out and I don't have to pay taxes on the bunch of money I inherited last year, and I get back a big chunk of what I paid in tuition, then the money's mostly going toward this and next year's tuition with maybe some for yard and house maintenance--there're some huge trees in our yard, and they block the sun, plus if they went over, one would squash our house, one would flatten our fence, and one would take out our and our neighbor's power line. That one's actually on their property, but hinting that we'd like them to get rid of it hasn't gotten us anywhere.

Pay off some debt and put the rest into savings for all the upcoming rates and surcharges -_-

Not that I'm likely to get any tax back. Never bloody do.
