What Actor/ess do you wish picked better projects

Good/bad/better is subjective, but still.

What has Sebastian Stan been in besides 'The Martian'? Because that's the only non-MCU movie he's been in that I know of.

Morgan Freeman. What the fuck, Morgan?
Will Smith. Why?

I was watching this review for the Ben Hur trailer and they kept ragging on his wig lmao I couldn't even deal.

Eh, Collateral Beauty / Suicide Squad seem cool.

Kate McKinnon. Man she could almost make me go see this fucking trainwreck. She deserves so much better.

Fucking Sharlto Copley, his career went nowhere after the A-Team movie.
At least he's billed for a movie with Oscar winning actress Brie Larson. I hope it turns out good and salvages his career a little bit.

I love him. I think he's sexy and I could listen to him read a phone book. He's also a spectacular actor, so it saddens me that he's in so little/in stuff that seems to flop.

Kristen Stewart. She was fantastic in Speak and The Runaways, she wasn't that bad in that one horror movie either. She's clearly capable of actual acting. But she keeps ending up in things that require her to either be 'the every girl' like Twilight, or things like Snow White where she's supposed to be, well, Snow White. She does best in things where she has to play up trauma or negative emotions.

Snow White put me to sleep tbh, which is strange, because ... despite everything, I actually rather liked the first Twilight movie. It was passable, and I enjoyed watching it. I think she gets too much of the brunt of it when the source material is just bad.

Have you seen Camp X Ray (I think that's it).

I actually super liked her in American Ultra. But then again the movie itself was just FUN.

Doug Jones. He's admitted as such that his big issue is that he can't bring himself to say "No", which is probably how he ended up in such great films like Rocky and Bullwinkle, Rise of the Silver Surfer, and The Benchwarmers.

He's rather like Andy Serkis, though? His most prominent work is in not being seen, or not being recognizable for all the makeup and costume. Silver Surfer was a shit film but his mocap was on point.

Anyway he'll never be out of work. At the very least, Del Toro would never make a movie without him.

Shia LeBeouf. Yeah, I know he's a douchebag in real life, but he was just so awesome in Even Stevens and Holes. It's been sad to see him lost to shitty typecast action movie roles.

Armie Hammer.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was the first project of his I'd actually wanted to see for reasons other than his involvement for the first time in ages.

Katie Cassidy. She had gotten away from the CW and then she went back for Arrow and all she's gotten in return is abuse from the psychotic fans who want her to die because she plays a fictional character they don't like. She's a good actress (she's the only one from the cast to win an award for acting) and a genuinely lovely and kind human being. Met her at a convention once and I can honestly say she is the nicest celebrity I've ever met. I hope she manages to break away from the CW someday.

Hugh Jackman. Handsome, talented, super kind, hardworking human being... can't pick a script to save his life.

Taylor Kitsch

as another anon said, most of his career looks good on paper or is "do this project so the studio will fund this small vanity project..." but COME ON.

As much as I love him, but Karl Urban.

He's been in some...rather unfortunate films honestly. D: But when he picks a good film, he picks a damn good film and will knock that roll out of the park.

Ryan Reynolds also kind of falls into that. And Jack Black.

I wish Adam Driver wasn't on Girls - I feel sorry for everyone having to work with Dunham/being on the crap pile of a show.
