Now I'm going to go grocery shopping in preperation to bunker down. It's 3 days of thunderstorms :P Also taking the mutt to have her teeth checked, got a freebie for it.
I'm doing a lot of DIY to decorate my house! I put up my Sri Lankan banner. I'm going to finish making the dog's bed. I'm also going to improve her harness - not enough padding.
Gonna mow the lawn...
I want to watch some movies but not sure what to watch? I'm going to look for new b grade sci fi nature horror type things. Watched the Thing and it was good.
That's it I think. Chocolate sales?

I hope your chores (DIY and mowing) are not too terrible.
The Thing is AMAZING! What other movies do you have as choices?

The Thing was a pleasant surprise! Hmm the tv guide confuses me but doesn't look like anything interesting tonight, I may have to go with google after lunch. Probably open the Thing's wiki page and see where that leads me in terms of similar things.
It was sooo good tho! That creature really gave me the creeps, the characters were pretty decent! Only thing is - I didn't really understand the after credits scene? I thought Lars was dead, so the dog is a creature? Or Lars is the creature and redirecting it as the dog?

I've only seen it once. And it is sort of a prequel to the (much, much better) The Thing from 1982.
