Weekend and Easter Plans

What are you doing this weekend?

I'll be putting together a bookshelf I got (finnnaalllly). Thankfully, I went shopping today so I don't have to worry about fighting the crowds tomorrow.

Sunday, we will have some family over to do an Easter dinner and hide eggs for my nephew. We bought him some hot wheels to go in them!

We're watching Solaris tonight :)

On Sunday we're going to brunch with family and then visiting grandma.

Will probably fill the time in between setting up Fallout 3 and maybe even playing it.

I assume the newer one? I watched it once because I got it confused with a different movie (the one with Cillian Murphy I think).

I envy everyone who's doing the whole Easter thing (hiding eggs for kiddos and all). My folks are out of town on a trip, and my kid sister is now a teenager so she's too old anyways.

I'll probably be at home alone for most of the day while my sister is at work, chugging soda, eating some candy and working on writing and stuff (also maybe taking a walk at some point). Don't get me wrong , it'll be fun. But I just kinda miss the whole family thing.

You should plan an adult Easter Egg hunt. With like those big plastic eggs filled with mini-liqueur bottles.

Job searching. HOpefully getting some writing done. Catching up on some sleep. I've had a bad sinus headache for a couple days that has ruined my sleep a bit.

Easter I believe we are doing beef briscuit, mashed potatoes, green beans, and blackberry cobler for desert.

I hope you can get some searching done (I assume it is online searching?). I hope your sinuses feel better soon. I used to get real bad sinus headaches but Oklahoma has less trees so less pollen.

And that dinner sounds delicious! We are having roast beef, squash/zucchini, and mashed potatoes!

Tonight, watching Harry Potter 4 with my friend! We've been doing a run-through of all the movies.

Saturday, locals and dinner, business as usual.

Sunday, Easter brunch with family and chilling :)

I won't go to my cousin's birthday because I dislike his mom. He's two so he won't even care.

Will probably help my mom bake a cake for Sunday.

If we have time we're going to watch The Force Awakens. Yes, I am a thief.

Yard work tomorrow, my back yard looks like a jungle. Weeding, pruning trees, cutting grass, raking. It's a mess but fortunately it will be a nice day tomorrow and not too hot.

I'm gonna look for a creative way to display all my books. I already have a bookshelf, but it's got books stacked on top of other books and looks rather messy.

Saturday I'll be doing uni work.
I gave up chocolate for lent so Sunday I will spend the whole day making up for 6.5 chocolate free weeks :)

I'm moving. It's really going to be an adjustment because I won't even have my own room, just the couch. I don't know what to do with all my crap. And holiday and family trouble and auugh.

Tomorrow am doing the early rising thing to go with mum to dialysis; I didn't go last week cus it snowed and Dad takes her when it snows. But only 3 more Saturday dialysis days (and 8 sessions total for mum) as she's getting a kidney transplant on Apr 15; one of her sisters is donating one. I wasn't able to as I have type 2 diabetes. We'll do dinner out afterwards.

Easter dinner will be on Sunday at my parents' place--we're having ham, with potatoes, carrots, turnip and peas. I think sis is making an apple crumble for dessert.

Outside of that, I'll be playing games and doing some writing...not much else planned.

Good luck with the bookshelves and hope you have fun with your nephew (and the rest of your family).

Working on cosplay, I guess. I finally started making Cloud's Buster Sword! My paracord arrived today - I'm going the overachiever route and doing a full weave across the handle. I can't stand an unwrapped handle, and in some of the official images it looks like a woven hilt, so I'm going to learn the weave.
I spent like 3+ hours today gutting the paracord and my hands are a mess, because I got 50 inches of the stuff. I hope it's enough.

Being a little annoyed that I have to work on Saturday. I usually do, but I had somehow gotten it into my head that I had Saturday through Monday off this weekend and made plans accordingly. They are plans that will be easy enough to reschedule, being all things that I was going to do by myself at home, but I was really wanting to have some exciting pastries ready to throw in the oven on Easter morning. Instead, I will be spending Easter itself kneading and folding for hours so I can have kouign-amann on Monday.

Nothing much really - I did all my easter plans in the week leading up to it. Went camping in pure isolation, had some hang outs with vegan girl, hooked my dog up with doggie friends.

Now I'm going to go grocery shopping in preperation to bunker down. It's 3 days of thunderstorms :P Also taking the mutt to have her teeth checked, got a freebie for it.

I'm doing a lot of DIY to decorate my house! I put up my Sri Lankan banner. I'm going to finish making the dog's bed. I'm also going to improve her harness - not enough padding.

Gonna mow the lawn...

I want to watch some movies but not sure what to watch? I'm going to look for new b grade sci fi nature horror type things. Watched the Thing and it was good.

That's it I think. Chocolate sales?

For once I've actually got stuff going on!! I'm maybe seeing a show with a friend this weekend (cross your fingers, we're gonna try for rush tickets tomorrow!), I have a nebulous brunch plan, I have church (maybe, long story), nebulous other dinner plans, cat-sitting, possibly Target errands, homework, a new book I really like (and am frustratingly almost through with?! I realized today), and baking a batch of captain America shield cookies. And getting stuff out of the way for next week, because I'm going to see my BROTHER (a very difficult boy to see) and parents and dog next weekend.

I'm going yard saling tomorrow morning, and in the afternoon I'm going to ride my horse for the first time in almost a year, because my dad finally finished the mounting ramp he'd been planning to build for me. I cannot wait to be back in the saddle!
