The hints people take as a base for a ship are almost NEVER written to be taken that way, that's why the comparison to other pairings is a valid point to bring into it (and you also brought up other pairings in the comments so... yeah.). And yes, I already agreed that people trying to argue it's canon are ridiculous, so what's your point here?

I think it's great that you are convinced that people "force" this very shipping femslash ship into this fandom. They usually don't - they are just not the main focus in fanwork. That doesn't mean people don't really ship them. People can have different priorities when shipping, you know. And I think it's ridiculous to claim that any femslash pairing in a slash-dominated fandom is 'forced' just because you personally don't agree with it.

Nobody forces you to ship anything. Never. As long as you don't go around vocally hating on a ship to the ship-fan's faces, nobody will care if you ship it or not.

I wouldn't have made the secret if that were true. "Callout" posts of "I see you ignoring the obvious femslashy subtext between Girl A and Girl B, and don't think I don't know why" are the kind of shit I left other fandoms because of. I grant that I haven't seen it in the Haikyuu fandom yet, but I think I have reason to be on guard about it.

Oh yes, silly, non-personalised callout posts by idiots, that's definitely massively terrible and such harrassment.

You think you're being sarcastic, but you don't know Tumblr.

Nah, I know and despise callout culture on tumblr. That said, if a callout post is made in general, nobody forces you to apply it to yourself. Just ignore it.
