Am I just weird, or does this seem sort of sweet?

I mean I get how the anon thing might be a bit weird, but I'm not reading this as creepy. Mostly cause I can really imagine the situation of that awkward dinner where you're the only single person, and honestly I'm probably the sort of person who would let a random internet person tag along.

I agree. It reads to me like someone trying to be nice, not saying they seriously would come stalk the person if they gave them their address. I have tumblr friends like that. I've made posts about feeling undatable before and people have responded saying they'd date me. And I've done the same for other people. It is just a way of being nice and encouraging people.

it read as a harmless flirt to me. I mean, unless the anon did have access to the person's name, location, and face, they're completely unable to act on it and knows it, so the end result is just friendly banter. winky face ;D

Yeah, me too. *shrug*
