Okay, maybe you know you shouldn't. You know you should live and let live, and let people enjoy what they like, and understand that tastes are different.

But what's that that series/game/book/whatever that someone says they like and you get a visceral urge to shout FUCK YOU. Okay, maybe not that extreme but you have a very difficult time not going on a ten minute rant about how you personally loathe it.

I'm generally so chill about this kinda thing. I mean, like what you're gonna like; we're all different, and you're not me and I'm not you, and yeah. But 'Transformers' is so bad to me that when someone likes it I have this weird totally irrational reaction.

Oh god I seriously hate those movies. They are awful in about every way. They are the kind of movie your skeevy conservative gun-touting America-flag-waving uncle watches and goes on about how the "female was easy on the eyes"

Game of Thrones.

My hatred for it is very real. And I usually read news on The Guardian but the editors there are constantly creaming themselves over it, every day during "Game of Thrones" season there are new articles about it it's like shut up

My only issue is when people start praising GoT/ASoIaF by saying how much better it is than other fantasy while clearly knowing almost nothing about the fantasy genre.

Miraculous Ladybug

I think it's a nice little show for children, but I get angry when adults say they like it, and on Tumblr all of them do. All my favorite fanartists draw art of it now, and it's conflicting because their art is good and some of them do cute comics of it. But I just do not understand how they all like the show itself so much. It's boring and cliche, and it has all the tropes these same people are always complaining about in other things (het romance, love polygons, pointless misunderstandings, catty mean girls, the boy even calls the girl "m'lady" like the fedora tippers they hate so much) I don't get it and it makes me angry!

50 Shades. Live and let live, I'd never actually tell anyone "FUCK YOU" to their face... but if someone genuinely unironically likes it and sees nothing wrong with it, yeah, I'm gonna internally judge them.

The Big Bang Theory. I just think it's unfunny and... kind of offensive?
I also hate that every one of my friends love (loved?) it to bits and now call ME a "nerd" as an endearing term because I like science, TV shows and comics. Fuck you! I was the uncool kid in my class during all my childhood and high school and then suddenly this fucking show makes the things I hated most of myself and tried to hide for as long as I remember the coolest ever and I'M SO BITTER

But I guess it's a good thing for kids growing up these days, looking at the hobbies being more accepted. I'm actually happy for them if that's the case.

(Bonus: I absolutely loathe Murakami Haruki's Norwegian Wood, but that's a rant I already made here not so long ago)

Honestly most kids' shows that grown-ass adults go balls to the walls over. SU is just the most recent egregious example, but Miraculous Ladybug is getting right up there, and so on and so forth.

Everyone forgot about Damien over that show, and Damien got really nice over the last few episodes, especially since it did a 180° on that unlikeable cop by making him a gay dad with a cute chubby son.
