I'm a dyke & I went through a period where I could *only* get off to m/m stuff. What floats ur boat floats ur boat, my man.

I don't have anything to add, but I love that this is the first comment and therefore, the one shown as you scroll...

Huh. I wonder what the numbers are like re: lesbians who like slash vs gay men who like femslash.

I've watched f/f with gay male friends, but it wasn't really to get off on.

(Anonymous) 2016-04-30 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
You like what you like, OP. I'm a heterosexual female, but I only read and watch f/f. No idea why. It's just what I like.

(Anonymous) 2016-04-30 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Bisexual female here. Can only read m/m. Het and femslash do nothing for me. No idea why.

I've come to the conclusion that human sexuality is weird and we're all wired differently.

(Anonymous) 2016-04-30 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Almost the same. I like het, but not as much as m/m. I don't give a shit about femslash.

Same. Het is so damn boring, and f/f only works for me *very* occasionally, and only the 'right' ship. Otherwise - m/m all the way.

We are what we are.

This is similar to me except I can read het and femslash if they're R and under. No porn unless it's m/m.

I don't understand it but. Eh.

(Anonymous) 2016-04-30 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe it's that distancing thing.

I mean I'm a bi girl and I read f/f but it doesn't do it for me as often because I can read about the characters doing a certain act and I'm comparing it to my experiences and it's "i wouldn't like that".

But I'll also read m/m and I'm still getting a gay story but one I'm less likely to compare to my experiences. Cuz I don't really know what things feel like for guys.

(Anonymous) 2016-04-30 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, this makes a LOT of sense! I think that's definitely one reason why m/m is more appealing to me than anything with a female character in it - I love het and femslash romance, even ones with very steamy and erotic observations or thoughts, but the actual smut just leaves me unmoved in most cases.

(Anonymous) 2016-04-30 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
this. I noticed I (cis-female) get the same reaction "I wouldn't like that" reaction from gay couples involving dudes with vaginas.

I can get off to any permutation in live action porn, but for fanfic it's either m/m or f/f, het rarely does it for me. Brains are weird so don't stress over it.

(Anonymous) 2016-04-30 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Lesbian who basically only reads/watches m/m porn. I don't know why, I just like it.

(Anonymous) 2016-04-30 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)
You're particular and most gay smut doesn't have what you need. It might not even be because said smut is gay or not. It could be the individual creators who have a style that does it for you. Don't feel weird. :)

Enh, I'm a gay man and I own a lot of girlporn! I don't think there's anything weird about that; if I only went looking around for decent trans porn, I'd be shit out of luck for, like, EVER.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-01 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm assuming you're a fellow trans guy? If not, plz ignore the following unless it floats your boat.

Bonus Hole Boys has some really good stuff with hot actors and they're rolling out a ton of new content and a subscription service soon if you're into that.

FtM Fuckers is alright as well, they're more "all purpose" trans male porn which I kind of appreciate since my girlfriend is a (mostly, she's nice and lets me play around with her behind because I think it's adorable) total top trans woman and the way we "do the do" just so happens to be the way a lot of porn likes to film trans female/trans male scenes. Their gay porn is pretty good too, they even have a couple trans male on trans male scenes I believe.

Also, tumblr. Tumblr is FULL of really fucking hot, really confident trans guys showing off, and often their lovers as well. And Reddit sometimes has some decent trans male porn showing off. There's one amateur guy who I love, TripleXXXTransMan. Here's one of his imgur albums, and you can buy videos from him and talk to him on snapchat and shit. :)

I'm a lesbian, and I can get off to pretty much anything: het, f/f, m/m. What you like in porn isn't always an indicator of what you're into irl.

I just wanted to throw in my weird two cents. I'm a lesbian, though it's taken me a while to get there with saying it; I have always gotten off to f/f or het with the focus on the girl. And yet, a lot of the time and despite my sole romantic attraction and desire to be in a relationship with a woman, I typically find f/f quite dull in comparison to m/m for plot and emotive stuff. I don't know if that's more fandom and it's contents influence? I have f/f ships but they rarely excite in me the passion that my slash ships have over the years.

If you don't like femininity, then why do you like F/F?
Sorry I'm just confused.

Queer lady here. These days I mostly get off on het, used to read mostly m/m. IRL I'm not too into dick, but the porn I read has to have it. Go figure.

I (and many other people) note that sometimes something too close to your own sexuality can be hard to be escapist in. For example, I couldn't even consume any f/f media when I was heartbroken over being dumped by my gf (who was also my best friend, so it was a double whammy) het and m/m didn't ping this at all.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-01 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Who cares.

This isn't even fandom. You might as well just be talking about plain old porn.

I like slash, and have ventured into femslash and het because I like the author. But I don't get off on fandom pairings. In smut, I like pretty kinky stuff, like non-con bdsm, usually m/m.
