Shadowhunters. I still will never read the books (unless I can get some version with just the two characters I care about) but I am love with that terrible, amazing show. But I still hate the name "Clary Fray (Fairchild)".

If one of the two characters you care about is Magnus (I know he's one of mine), there's a spinoff book of short stories about him called The Bane Chronicles. Not all the stories in it are written by Cassie Claire, either.

Alec and Magnus are the two I am interested in. I read up on them on the Wikipedia before I got really into it. I was happy to see that (so far because I think new books might still be coming out?) that they are in a happy relationship, both are alive, and they have children.

From everything I've seen in fandom about the books... I'm not touching them at all. And since Magnus is my fave there's no reason for me to because he's not in them all that much apparently(I could read the Bane Chronicles but really I think I'll just stick with show!Magnus because I love him).

It's garbage TV but I love it.

Too bad they are using 13 episode British seasons and not 24 episode American seasons. If this was on the CW, it would go on for at least 7 seasons no matter how terrible it may be. I know nothing about how Freeform works.

Also, Alec is totally the kind of character I go for. As soon as I saw him and read a bit on the Wiki, I was like, "Yup. This is the one. The one that I shall obsess over."

I heard they were getting 20 episodes next season. I actually prefer 13 episode seasons because it means less filler and time-wasting, but so long as they can keep it entertaining for more episodes I'm cool with whatever. I have no idea how they work either, we'll just have to see what comes I guess.

I think Alec is very pretty too but Magnus is the one that I am most attracted to, he just looks good all the time to me(and so do the ladies as well tbh, I find everyone on this show hot as hell, it's unreal).
